Responsibilities

 

The ServiceNow Architect is a strategic, high‑impact technical leader responsible for shaping the design, architecture, and delivery of complex ServiceNow solutions that drive Empower AI’s growth pipeline. Working closely with solutioning, capture, delivery, and business development teams, this role ensures every solution is scalable, secure, mission‑aligned, and built for enterprise longevity. As a key influencer across the organization, the ServiceNow Architect advances platform capabilities, supports major strategic pursuits, and drives meaningful outcomes across all business units.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of scalable, high‑quality ServiceNow architectures aligned to client requirements and Empower AI’s growth pipeline. Translate complex needs into actionable, future‑ready technical designs.
  • Serve as the principal advisor in solutioning sessions, guiding clients and internal teams with strong architectural insight and consultative expertise.
  • Elevate Empower AI’s presence in the ServiceNow ecosystem by contributing innovative ideas, best practices, and architectural perspectives.
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity, performance, reliability, and user experience across all implementations.
  • Define and innovate integration patterns that enhance data quality, interoperability, and automation across systems. Develop and champion integration best practices.
  • Introduce new methodologies, tools, and architectural approaches to improve delivery excellence and practice performance. Ensure alignment with frameworks and standards.
  • Establish, enforce, and continually improve quality assurance practices, including design reviews, architectural governance, and solution validation.
  • Strengthen platform and solution security in alignment with evolving regulatory, federal, and client requirements. Implement and maintain secure architectures.
  • Produce high‑quality design documentation, diagrams, and architectural artifacts; contribute to the organization’s knowledge base and best‑practice repository.
  • Stay ahead of ServiceNow advancements, platform releases, and industry trends, bringing forward modern capabilities and innovative approaches.
  • Cultivate strong, trust‑based client relationships; anticipate challenges; and guide stakeholders toward successful platform outcomes.
  • Support the development of ServiceNow talent by coaching consultants, reviewing work, and helping shape career growth within the practice.
  • Engage in strategic planning, nurture key relationships, and contribute innovative solutions that advance organizational objectives.

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 10 years software development experience, including: 5+ years hands‑on ServiceNow development and integrations; 3+ years as a ServiceNow Solution Architect
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Hands‑on implementation experience with at least two or more: ITSM, ITOM, PSDS, SAM, HAM, SPM, App Engine.
  • Integration expertise across LDAP, AD, SSO, Email infrastructure, APIs/Web Services.
  • 2+ years developing custom ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.
  • Proven ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Excellent client‑facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong documentation capabilities, including flows, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.
  • Experience delivering within Agile methodologies.
  • Experience supporting Federal agencies (e.g., DoD, DHS, DoS, GSA, CMS).
  • Extensive background architecting solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules and enterprise environments.
  • Strong consultative skills with experience leading solutioning sessions and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, security, data modeling, and automation frameworks.
  • Ability to bring clarity in ambiguous environments through structured thinking and solution leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement architectural standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns.
  • Leadership qualities that promote collaboration, team growth, and continuous improvement.

 

 

  • Preferred certifications:
    • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • CIS certifications (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM, etc.)
    • ITIL Foundations

  • Travel minimally, via car or plane, which requires ability to manage luggage, laptop, and briefing materials (up to 25 pounds).
