Configuration Management Lead – Change, Configuration and Infrastructure Management

• Assists customer in understanding product configuration; communicates and documents the change process and policies; conducts configuration planning; audits requirements and validates baselines
• Develops control processes and policies and ensures control measures are capable of supporting deployment activities to meet business needs
• Ensures version controls are in place for software integrity
• Interacts directly with all elements of the team to include management
• Tracks discrepancies and changes against baselines and manages the change control database
• Trains personnel on the proper methodology to maintain a proactive CM program
• Provides daily support and direction to staff as to change status requirements, deadlines and problems

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
• 7 - 12 years experience
• 4 years’ team lead or equivalent experience in IT Configuration Management, metrics and reporting, ITSM process management, or other relevant experience required
  • Experience maintaining baseline and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy required
  • Experience on maintaining the baseline for efforts using Agile and DevOps methodologies
  
• 2 years’ experience maintaining the baseline for US Federal cloud-based systems for similar-sized environment.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner.   

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certifications preferred 

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
• AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

• Advanced experience using configuration management database (CMDB) to onboard new hardware/software technologies accurately and confirm that items are correctly documented
• 5+ years of IT requirements managements, configuration management, change management or Systems Engineering experience
• Mid-level experience in configuration and change management principles
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS and basic Unix commands
