Sr. Unix Engineer - Hosting

A minimum of 10 years with Unix Engineering specifically including:
o Analysis related to design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale Unix environments with virtualization including RedHat, CentOS, and SPARC Solaris
o 10 years’ experience testing large scale UNIX and virtual environments.
o Experience performing a variety of engineering and operational related assignments associated with Storage operations, backup operations, and virtualization software (VMware’s vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V on a set of enterprise-level IT systems.
o 10 years’ experience writing scripts with a scripting language, with knowledge of ANSIBLE
o Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
o Experienced in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience
• 7 - 12 years of experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 10 years with Unix Engineering

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

• Ambulate throughout an office
• Ambulate between several buildings
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
