Sr. Director Operations, Civilian
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
Develop and drive long-term operational strategies aligned with corporate vision and market trends.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to position the organization for future growth and competitive advantage.
2. Enterprise-Wide Operational Oversight
Oversee multiple programs within the business unit, ensuring consistency and excellence in financial performance and operational execution.
Set and monitor enterprise-wide performance metrics, benchmarks, and KPIs.
3. Financial Stewardship & Resource Allocation
Direct enterprise-level budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.
Lead cost optimization and investment prioritization across the organization.
4. Growth
Lead on-contract growth, meeting or exceeding growth targets for programs in portfolio.
Support new business development in markets adjacent to delivery portfolio supporting achievement of overall business unit new business growth targets.
5. Technology & Innovation Leadership
Guide adoption of emerging technologies and operational best practices.
Sponsor enterprise-wide technology initiatives and digital transformation programs.
6. Executive Stakeholder Engagement
Represent operations to the executive level, influencing organizational direction.
Build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including key clients, regulators, and industry leaders.
7. Talent Development & Succession Planning
Develop senior leadership talent pipelines and succession plans for critical operational roles.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
