Responsibilities

Empower AI: As a Data Retention Mobile Technician, you will serve as a key member of the Mobile Wireless team, responsible for leading the lifecycle management of mobile device intake, imaging, and secure data retention processes. Leveraging advanced tools such as Cellebrite, you will design and optimize workflows that ensure compliance, efficiency, and data integrity in a dynamic, high-visibility environment. This role requires the ability to exercise independent judgment, manage competing priorities, and contribute to continuous process improvement. In this capacity, you will play a strategic role in advancing Empower AI’s mission to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that help our clients adapt to rapidly evolving operational landscapes.

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of mobile device intake, extraction, and reporting.
  • Oversee protocols for the intake, cataloging, and secure storage of mobile devices, ensuring compliance with data governance and operational standards.
  • Upload mobile device data to SharePoint in an organized and accurate manner.
  • Accurately upload mobile device data to designated SharePoint following established procedures and naming conventions to ensure proper documentation and retrieval.
  • Manage service request priorities in ServiceNow, triaging escalations and ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Develop and maintain Work Instructions (WIs) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mobile data extraction workflows, independently identifying procedural improvements.
  • Prepare and present weekly project status updates and trends to management.
  • Maintain strong written and verbal communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and initiatives as needed to support departmental goals as directed by leadership.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field or equivalent related experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience supporting mobile phone or IT systems.
  • 8570 Level II Certification, Security+ 
  • ITILv4 Foundation minimum certification preferred. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to obtain or possess an active Secret Clearance.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems required, ServiceNow systems would be an asset.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

  • Standing for long periods.
  • Ambulate throughout an office.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
  • Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds.
