Responsibilities

Empower AI: As a Storage, Backup, and Restore Systems Engineer, you will provide services in support of the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN-A) Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) contract. As a member of the storage, backup and restore support team, you will provide Army Enterprise storage, backup, and restore capability and analysis support in the form of security architecture review, Continuity of Operation (COOP), technical recommendations, solutions implementation including installation, tuning, upgrade, enhancement, and integration of storage, backup and restore technologies as matrix support to Enterprise capabilities, the ITEF, and other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 – 12 years of experience
  • Intermediate experience with Storage systems and related components to include the following: Disk Control and Array Frames, SAN Fabric switches and Fiber channel Switches, Storage Monitoring and Management Tools, and Data Encryption Appliances.
  • Intermediate experience in design and implementation of SAN and NAS.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows and UNIX/LINUX systems supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle Real Application Clusters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF 632) Systems Developer Advanced qualified (FITSP-D or GCSA or GISF or SSCP) or equivalent certification
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Travel by land or air transportation 10% or less
