Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Engineer - Lead for Empower AI, Inc.You will serve as a critical component in meeting our mission of providing excellent services to our client. Your experience ensures an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be at the forefront of providing required  support to the United States Mint. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI, Inc.’s mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

 

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and maintenance of network communications
  • Possesses expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks
  • Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • May lead and direct the work of others

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Networking Professional)
  • ITIL 4+ Foundation Certification
  • Minimum 15 years data center services experience.
  • Practical skills, experience and training, leading design, configuration, upgrade, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching of data network hardware and software including but not limited to Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Thousand Eyes, DNAC (Cisco DNA Center), Stealthwatch (Cisco Secure Analytics), Identity Service Engine (ISE).
  • Ability to keep sensitive and confidential material private.

 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree Information Systems/Relevant Field

 

Physical Requirements:

 

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
