Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs
  • Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts
  • Develops new business and expands product line
  • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks
  • Manages large teams of employees and subcontractos - Data Center Ops, Enterprise IT Services

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 20 years of related experience leading and managing IT programs.
  • 10 years of related experience leading and managing IT teams similar to PBGC size andscope, including service delivery contract, mission critical program, data center operations and Enterprise IT Services, including managing subcontractors
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing contract performance similar to PBGC size and scope using Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Must have experience in managing 100 plus employee teams
  • Experience establishing and implementing Project Management, IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT security services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience

Required Certifications:

  • Project Management Institutes’ Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification.

  • Azure certification of at least the MS Azure Fundamentals level.

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager
    (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • ITIL® Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certifications and the DevSecOps FoundationSM
    certification from the DevOps Institute.

Preferred Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant information technology disciplines.
  • 15-20 years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of complex information technology infrastructure involving the technology domains, of similar size and scope
  • Demonstrated experience with the management, manpower utilization, and supervision of employees (including subcontractors) of various labor categories and skills in projects similar in size and scope.
  • Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance environment that includes, at a minimum, knowledge of customer satisfaction tracking, user complaint and monitoring programs, and quality control (QC) programs
  • Demonstrated experience with the management of either a broad and complex cybersecurity environment or of a broad and complex DevSecOps environment, of similar size and scope.
  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management including the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
