Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:

 

  • Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s)
  • Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
  • Prepares documentation of methods and procedures
  • Implements tests and documents test data
  • Participates in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the lifecycle
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues and conflicts
  • Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
  • Prepares program and test specifications
  • Prepares test procedures and data
  • Selects performance levels of components and subsystems
  • Devises appropriate tests to use in evaluating, debugging, and checking of equipment and systems for accurate and dependable conformance to specifications
  • Supervises revisions and changes
  • Assists with implementation of combined hardware/software systems
  • Develops procedures for accomplishing the deployment of new and modified web or application capability.
  • Develop common strategies for release governance across multiple departments.
  • Establish consistent release management processes.
  • Facilitate cross-department coordination of release management functions.
  • Define common mechanisms for rollback and standards for capturing release-related performance indicators.
  • Provide QA/QC and metrics management activities as directed, such as developing quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and developing quality metrics and scoring parameters.

 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience
  • ITIL v4
  • IAT Level II Certification 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:

  • III: 4 – 9 Years 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

 

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 25 pounds
  • Travel by land or air transportation 15 %
