Responsibilities

Empower AI: As a Transition Manager, responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the transition process, ensuring that the objectives, timelines, and budgets are met, and that the stakeholders are satisfied and engaged.

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Creates and executes detailed transition plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resources.
  • Coordinates with program teams to ensure alignment with transition objectives.
  • Monitors and evaluates the progress of transitions, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Communicates changes to relevant stakeholders and managing resistance effectively.
  • Provides training and support to staff during transition periods.
  • Evaluates the results and impacts of the transition, measuring the achievement of the objectives, the quality of the deliverables, and the satisfaction of the stakeholders.
  • Identifies the lessons learned and the best practices from the transition, and document and share them for future reference and improvement.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of management experience
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certified
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in the defense industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or higher
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) IT Project Manager qualified (DCWF 802)
  • GSEC or Security+ certified, or higher
  • Experience supporting Army Information Technology programs

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Travel by land or air transportation 10% or less
