Responsibilities

Empower AI: As the Deliverables Coordinator/Technical Writer, you will be in direct communication with the project director and will write and edit all RC documentation, to include but not limited to manuals, weekly reports any other artifacts as needed. This is a part time position. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI’s mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

 

 Responsibilities:

    • Plans and prepares the technical data for publication projects
    • Represents the company in technical documentation assignments 
    • Applies concepts for technical writing based on technical information from subject matter experts, and other available sources
    • Produces user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community
    • Organizes information from multiple sources, and expresses technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers
    • Analyzes requirements, develops source material, and consults technical staff to prepare documents
    • Provides guidance and direction in the areas of quality, format and style
    • Ensures adherence to specifications
    • May provide work leadership for lower-level employees
    • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of the project documentation and documentation standards
    • Interfaces with the customer, management, and project personnel
    • Writes status reports and participates in project activities
    • Complies with departmental policies and procedures.
    • Complies with Statement of Work (SOW) guidelines and CMS directives and regulations pertaining to improper payments in the Medicaid and CHIP programs.
    • Attends departmental and required education and training programs.
    • Performs other projects or duties as assigned by the Assistant Program Manager.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least (4) four years working experience primarily centered upon technical writing and editing
  • Working knowledge of the Medicaid and CHIP programs

 

Desired:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines to exacting standards required
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Word Perfect, Adobe, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
